Welcome to my blog about being a Christian in this day and age. These are trying times but with God's help i know I can make it through. I have never wanted for comfort before and I don't believe I should start now. Thus I plan to go through life laughing and smiling no matter what is going on around me in the secular world.
Yesterday my niece graduated from Corban College in Salem Oregon. It is a very nice little Baptist Bible college. In fact it's name was Western Bible College until the name was changed 3 years ago. The name was changed in order to get more federal aid for the students.
The commencement speaker was Dick Whentnll of the auto dealership campaign. He talked about working toward what you want, being thankful for what you do have, and helping others to achieve their goals. It was a very nice speech.
